It’s official – Ivanka Trump has joined dad’s (President Trump) staff in the White House.
Yesterday it was announced that she was named as a assistant to the president of United States of America.
“We are pleased that Ivanka Trump has chosen to take this step in her unprecedented role as first daughter and in support of the president,” reported a spokeswoman for the president for The New York Times.
Ivanka will work as a unpaid employee. The spokeswoman stated that the fact that she is an unpaid employee furthers the administration’s commitment to ethics, transparency and compliance which lets her to lead initiatives driving real policy benefits for the American people that she was not able to do before.
She will not be the only member of her family working for her father. Her husband, Jared Kushner, is the Senior Adviser to the President. Not to mention, Melania Trump is the FLOTUS.
Perhaps this is a strategic career move for her considering that her businesses have been boycotted by upset voters for some time now.
Couple weeks ago, Ivanka Trump has been given clearance to classified information and a personal office. Clearly Trump wants to keep higher positions in the family.
